Shovel City Improv all started with a simple enough Facebook post from Danielle Knight in 2018. She wondered if some theatre friends would be interested in trying their hand at short-form improv comedy and a small group said, “why not?”

The group members change and evolve over time, but the core purpose remains – give people something to laugh about.
